Bill Sweeney, the chief executive of England’s Rugby paypal Football Union (RFU), has confirmed that “tentative” discussions have been held over a possible British and Irish league paypal

But while suggesting that plans were pressing ahead on that front ahead of a potential implementation next summer, the RFU CEO confirmed that he had engaged in “hypothetical” discussions about a British and Irish league paypal
